The Close Combat specialization is useful for players which have characters builds focused in farming Plague Samples or looting (Builds with combinations of Backpacking and Marathon in the Cardio Specialization, Discipline and Resourcefulness in the Wits specialization) since they make it for the Blunt and Bladed melee weapons and thanks to the higher stamina, can be used to chain execute more zeds in a specific area.(Which is more useful for survivors which have traits which gives more health to their overall health bar or if the player have a Fighting Gym). The player can use the CCW specialization to execute sole Zombies to move and search around and even to execute hordes, however like the other two specialized melee fighting skills: Swordplay And Striking, the player gains fewer health in the overall health bar than the simplified Endurance fighting skill.At max skill, survivors gain a second special attack which allows them to execute zombies that are directly facing the survivor.Īll Close Combat Weapons are identical in attack pattern and stats, they are all essentially the same.
